Ronaldo did a gesture when Al-Shabab fans chanted 'Lionel Messi' after their game in the Saudi Pro League on Sunday.
Cristiano Ronaldo got suspended for one game because people think he did a rude gesture during a match in the Saudi Pro League while he was playing for Al Nassr.
After Al Nassr won against their rivals Al-Shabab 3-2 on Sunday, a video showed Ronaldo covering his ear and moving his hand near his waist, which seemed like he was trying to make fun of Al-Shabab fans.
The Saudi Arabia Football Federation (SAFF) committee said Cristiano Ronaldo can't play in the next game. Al Nassr plays against Al-Hazem on Thursday night.
He also has to pay 20,000 Saudi Riyals (around $5,333) to Al-Shabab and half of that to the federation for the complaint they made.
No one can argue against this decision.
Even though it wasn't on TV, people in Saudi Arabia didn't like what Ronaldo did.
This isn't the first time he's caused trouble since joining Al Nassr. Last April, he did something similar when fans chanted Messi's name. But Al Nassr said he was hurt in that game.
Ronaldo is doing really well in the league. He has scored the most goals, 22 in total. In the last game against Al-Shabab, he scored the first goal from a penalty kick.
Al Nassr is also in the quarterfinals of the Asian Champions League. They've never won this tournament before.
